Pokalfight? Nope! Gutes Spiel? Wohl auch nicht. Da man dieses DFB-Pokal Spiel nicht vor der Glotze verfolgen konnte, weil wieder einmal die Bayern die Exklusivrechte auf die ersten Pokalrunden für sich gepachtet haben, musste die gute alte WDR Pokal Konferenz herhalten.

Das Spiel war praktisch entschieden, weil Neuer einfach ein super Torwart ist und die einzige gefährliche Aktion (Kopfball Hanke) nach einhelliger Meinung mal wieder Weltklasse parierte.
Dem 2:0 ging eine Energieleistung von Jones voraus. Kuranyi setzte den Schlusspunkt.
Tja, watt wird nu? Auf Schalke stellt man sich die Systemfrage. Wie oben schon angemerkt ging das Experiment 4-4-2 mit Großmüller und Rakitic im Mittelfeld und Asamoah im Sturm in die Hose. Lövenkrands für Rakitic und 4-3-3. Besser, aber nicht mit dieser unterirdischen Verfassung in der sich Peter Lövenkrands derzeit befindet. Kaum Bewegung, kein Durchsetzungsvermögen. Dies hat ihm Asamoah immerhin noch voraus. Was beide vereint? Keine Torgefahr...
